Release: Hifi v1 Public Preview on Polygon
Today we launch a public preview of v1 on Polygon, a major update to our fixed-rate lending protocol.
The preview will be taking place on Polygon. Polygon PoS is an Ethereum-based side-chain which focuses on scalability. The lower fees Polygon offers will make the testing process accessible to everyone, something which wouldn't be the case if we were to organize this preview on the Ethereum mainnet due to the high gas fees.
The aim of this public preview is to: 1) try out the protocol in an environment leveraging real funds, 2) stress test our multi-collateral liquidation bots and 3) Gather community feedback. 4) Go through several full market lifecycles to educate users on protocol mechanisms during each phase of a market. 5) Begin the process of formally verifying the smart contracts to provide additional assurances to end users.
