"That's All Brother" flies again for the "Daks Over Normandy", the 75th anniversary ceremonial re-enactment of the air operations.
Destination is the beachheads and landing zones of Normandy, France where the June 6th, 1944 invasion took place.

Operation Overlord: Allied aircrafts are about to takeoff carrying on board thousands American paratroopers.
Destination: Normandy, France where they were to parachute behind enemy lines.
821 Troop Carrier C-47 took off from bases in England.
The leading plane is the: "That's All Brother" C-47 Skytrain
piloted by Lt. Col. John M. Donalson from the 87th Troop Carrier Squadron (3X).
At 01:30 AM of the next day Allied troops invaded the beaches of Normandy.
6th of June 1944 would be remembered as the "D-DAY".
"That's All Brother" was found in an Oshkosh, Wisconsin, boneyard in 2015.
It has been fully restored and is part of the Commemorative Air Force.
The CAF is an American non-profit organization based in Dallas, Texas,
that preserves and shows historical aircraft at airshows,
primarily in the U.S. and Canada.

"Soldiers, Sailors and Airmen of the Allied Expeditionary Force!
You are about to embark apon the Great Crusade, towards which we have striven, these many months.

In company with our brave Allies and brothers-in-arms on other Fronts, you will bring about the destruction of the German war machine, the elimination of Nazi tyranny over the oppressed people of Europe, and security for ourselves in a free world.
Your task will not be an easy one. Your enemy is well trained, well equipped and battle - hardened.
He will fight savegely.
But this is the years 1944! Much has happened since the Nazi triumphs of 1940 -41. The United Nations have in flicted upon the Germans great defeats, in open battle, man-to-man.
Our air offensive has seriously reduced their strength in the air and their capacity to wage war on the ground. Our Home Fronts have given us an overwhelming superiority in weapons and munitions of war, and placed at our disposal great reserves of trained fighting men.
The tide has turned! The free men of the world are marching together to Victory!
I have full confidence in your courage, devotion to duty and skill in battle. We will accept nothing less than full Victory!
Good Luck! And let us all beseech the blessing of Al-might God upon this great and noble undertaking."
