When shooting video with your DSLR, it makes life insanely simpler to have audio taken care of in-camera. Most built-in microphones are low quality and a variety of lav mics bring in a lot of digital noise. The Rode VideoMic Pro is a great solution to these problems. With advanced features like a hi-pass filter and audio level controls, this compact shotgun mic should serve me well!
