From March 2024, the stadium will seat 30,000 spectators and is designed with a star anise tree shape to reflect Khmer style. The stadium's name, "National Stadium," is displayed prominently in white letters on a red and blue background representing the flag of Cambodia. The seat font represents the Pali script in the Khmer language and the star anise pattern reflects Cambodia's rich culture.
