Auksalaq - A Telematic Opera
A behind the scenes look at the technology used to create a telematic opera Auksalaq.
This live performance with performers in multiple locations on the planet was made possible by using state of the art network equipment and ultra-fast Research and Education internet networks.
This performance was a part of the Network Performing Arts Production Workshop in Miami (March 2012).
The IDEA award winning opera’s creators led the workshop participants through a performance of select excerpts from the larger work and then chaired a discussion about the technology used.
