MY AUTOPSY RAW AND UNEDITED BLOOPER REEL
BLOOPER ALERT!
As promised for receiving 5 new backers, we are proud to release a BLOOPER REEL. Yes, we mess up sometimes. Yes, we have fun. And yes, we all have foul mouths at times.....well, lots of times. (That's your warning! A fair amount of NSFW language here!)
I struggled in deciding whether or not to actually "edit" these clips. The more I thought about it, the more it made sense to leave them raw. If you're not familiar with how films are made - what you see on screen is VASTLY different than what is captured on set and in the camera. There is a whole lengthy process of sound design, color correction, various post-production processes and "fixing" of elements that happen after the last "cut" is called and before it hits the eyeballs of the public.
We are trying to shed light on a subject - domestic violence - that many people are ashamed of. We want to bring it out into the open and have victims be confident enough to have their voices heard. When I thought about this piece in that light, I felt like we should not be ashamed of our "raw" footage. Normally showing something like that gives me massive anxiety. But, I have decided to put it all out there - warts and all! You'll see many imperfections - but like our protagonist, there is still so much VALUE there.
We just gotta ................fix it in post.
