It's no secret that Citroën's bold image is both attractive and intimidating. Snobs resent the idea that the "chevrons" can sometimes sacrifice comfort and functionality for the sake of a beautiful design. The C1 is just the ticket for such conservatives: it's stripped down to its essentials, the most practical and sufficient of the entire Citroën lineup.
