I'm back to flight team activities and that means more of these videos! The pilot in this airplane was a little squirly and caught us all off guard. After liftoff he pitched the airplane too high and the plane stalled, which is why it sunk for a few seconds. Luckily ground effect kept him from touching the ground again, but he was able to get a positive rate of climb afterwards. Speaking from a tailwheel endorsed pilot, this is something that you should NOT do! Pitch attitudes are vastly different in tailwheel aircraft vs tricycle aircraft. It's very clear that this pilot needs additional training. Of all the transient aircraft I've seen here, this was certainly the most shocking encounter so far.
