Let's Play "Hide the Soul!"
Today, for my first review, I talk about a movie that scared me witless as a child. Though since it's November 1988 release it has acquired a cult following in the horror genre. This movie is as old as I am almost but had amazing special effects for it's time.
I'm talking about Child's Play of course! Chucky makes his debut in this horror classic as a serial killer who puts his soul into a "Good-Guy" Doll. After the doll is given to Andy Barclay things start happening. While everyone believes Andy is the one murdering people it is really his doll, Chucky. Since Chucky revealed his true self to Andy, he needs to transfer his soul into the boys body before he is stuck in the doll forever.
Child's Play was written by Don Mancini and directed by Tom Holland.
