Lotus Emeya - Can the super-sporty, all-electric GT impress?
For a long time, the traditional British brand Lotus stood for two-seater sports cars. Even though there was once a plan for a spacious four-seater, it was never produced. Now, with the 5.13-meter-long and 1.45-meter-high Lotus Emeya, a GT for up to five people and luggage up to 1,388 liters is arriving. Of course, this isn't a completely new trend. Other manufacturers discovered this segment long ago, back in the heyday of combustion engines. Then came the GTs with purely electric drive, such as Audi with the GT or Porsche with the Taycan, both, incidentally, based on the same technical platform. The all-electric Lotus Emeya, with up to 905 hp, is specifically challenging the Porsche Taycan. Can it succeed?
