Ruth Royall wants to raise £2000 to fund her debut EP, "Rapture"
We decided to hit the streets of Bristol with Ruth to spread the word about her music and encourage people to share and even pledge to her crowdfunding campaign!
In this episode, Harriet and Ruth approach people around Bristol City Centre, playing them exclusive tracks from the EP (that no one else had heard!) and finding out if they would be likely to share or pledge to a crowdfunder.
In the next episode, we're going to take it to the next level and get Ruth singing to groups of strangers to see how they react!

Crowdfunding is becoming an increasingly popular way to independent artists to fund their first record. In Ruth's case, she is offering private gigs, singing lessons, t-shirts and, of course, copies of the EP, when pledging to the campaign.
