Fulmars wheeling endlessly at Carn Boel / Trevilley colony, Land’s End, Cornwall
Fulmar colony at Zawn Trevilley / Carn Boel, between Nanjizal and Land’s End. They wheel endlessly and gracefully around the cliffs, presumably using updrafts and gliding tirelessly. To what point, I don’t know, but they’re such efficient gliders, it seems to use very little energy and, I imagine, they enjoy it too - it looks magnificent fun.
