Here is a video describing my new winter washing regimen. Winter washing sucks but has to be done to avoid rust and corrosion. My goal is to avoid touching the car in these cold temperatures so I am constantly searching for products that can just be sprayed on and hosed off at a power washing bay.
I kept seeing ads for "Salts Gone" and decided to give it a test since it is pH neutral and safe on wax/ceramic coatings. It does an OK job but still leaves some residual dirt and salt on the car. I decided to use this "Salts Gone" stuff along with some Ammo NYC Frothe (the anti-salt version) which does a pretty decent job at binding to the dirt and allowing for most of it to just be sprayed off. Sometimes if the car is extremely dirty, you may still need to use a towel but it does do a pretty good job with just a power washing. It's not perfect, but this combination seems like the best solution available at the moment.
Both products were purchased on my own and my opinions on these products are also my own.
