The setup is Hydroponic gardening. All the plants are placed in individual net pots that are filled with clay pellets which are then placed into cut holes in the pipes. It is an ebb & flow (flood & drain) hydroponics system...the pipes are automatically flooded with water/nutrients from a hole in the top and then allowed to be drained back into the reservoir for reuse again at the next watering cycle.
Water is conserved, used over again until the reservoir needs topping. Great for those that want to save water or have
restrictions for water use.
