Ray Evanoff is a practicing musician from the United States. He has a doctorate in composition from the University of Huddersfield, and has taught music theory, composition, and analysis at various institutions including the University of New Orleans, Harvard, and Tulane University. He has been fortunate to study music with Quentin Baxter, Aaron Cassidy, Chaya Czernowin, Liza Lim, Steven Kazuo Takasugi, Philip Thomas, Hans Tutschku, and Trevor Weston, among others. He presently lives in New Orleans and teaches writing, grammar, learning strategies, and philosophy at Trinity Episcopal School.
