SERIES OF GEN Z SOLE PROTESTS AGAINST GOVERNMENANCE | KENYAN GEN Z HEARD; HALT IT'S POINTLESS
Intense Political pressure has been on the government of Kenya Kwanza Alliance since they came to power in August of 2022. Kenya has been engulfed by frequent protests aka 'maandamano' and the Gen Z-led protest. The frequent and more critical protests are spearheaded by Kenyan Gen Z.
The protests usually rock major cities of Kenya and even established towns. the protest-prone areas are Nairobi, Kisumu, Mombasa, Nakuru, Homabay. However, the government gave in to some of the Gen Z demands including withdrawing the finance bill 2024, scraping the housing levy, appointing a fresh cabinet. Despite the government's positive attempt to include the Gen Z demands, the protests are actually increasing the momentum across the Nation of Kenya.
