Hasura GraphQL 104 | Deploy to Heroku
In this tutorial we will deploy our Hasura GraphQL backend to Heroku. We will create the Dockerfile and heroku.yml files which are needed for container deployments. We will create a Heroku app via the terminal and install the official PostgreSQL add-on for database support. We will make our first deployment and add an admin secret for logging into our dashboard. We will also see how to launch our dashboard locally and disable direct access via the Heroku app url. We will perform a pg_dump of our current database schema and apply that on our Heroku instance. We will finish off by connecting our Flutter app to our newly deployed Hasura instance.
