Explore how our undergraduates of the Department of Industrial Management of the Faculty of Science, University of Kelaniya partnered with the University of Melbourne and Recycler Australia to develop AI-enabled autonomous robots for plastic waste management. Funded by the CRC program, this project focused on creating a specialized dataset for the Australian plastic waste stream, resulting in successfully trained AI systems.
