What You Should Include in Your Cake Contract + Downloadable Template | Cake Essentials
In this video I read through my Cake Contract I use for my own clients, so you know what you should be including in your own contract! These are extremely important to running a cake business, so you can protect yourself when issues happen. It also protects your clients, and sets expectations for both parties involved.
DISCLAIMER I highly recommend when creating your own contract, to not copy directly from the template. Please make adjustments that work best for you and your business. I've also had multiple people suggest you have a lawyer read through your contract and approve it, so that you can make sure you're covered properly. I have not done this myself, because I've worked with contracts in previous jobs and felt confident with my own. But especially if you're not familiar with contracts or not good at writing, I recommend having a lawyer read through your draft before using it for your business.
