Shadowland (OC Animatic) The Search for A’timé

This is a digital painting animatic i created using procreate. This features my a moment in a story where the Spirit of Animals-Animalia- is on a quest to find the lost guardian of Time-A’timé. The world has plunged into the ice age due to A’timé’s defeat at the hands of Vinter and it is up to Animalia to find them. But little does she know that finding the lost spirit isn’t the end of her journey.
I started the paintings back in august and really wanted to create what I pictured in my head as closely as possible. This is a technique I wish to improve upon so I can bring more stories to life. This particular cover of this amazing song was the perfect push I needed to complete this project. I want to create more to share the stories through song but it’s a very time consuming process. The world is a mess right now and school adds onto the stress. But this project gave me something unrelated to anything else to work on and improve. I have a few other projects I want to do but only time will tell!
