Is AI replacing us?

A short story about AI and human emotion.

Deep Blue stunned the world by defeating Grandmaster Garry Kasparov and in today's landscape, where chess is more popular than ever, we use superhuman algorithms, like Stockfish, to become better at chess.

But still, our human stories and emotions keep us glued to our screens showing live human chess matches even when machines play objectively better.

AI has become an incredible tool for coaching, offering insights into the game that were unimaginable just decades ago. We, as humans, are enhancing our skills and growing... with the help of machines. And most importantly, we still watch chess players play, even when machines outsmart us.

Technologies like ChatGPT are fascinating, but I'm convinced that human qualities will become even more valuable in the future.
