Illusionofmana & KawaiiKimu- CSP Mixel Speedpaint
You might notice that both of these pieces had a slightly different approach to mixeling. This was done early in my mixel experiment. Back when I used to do linework after the sketch. I mostly don't do that anymore. But I felt they could still be valuable as process of pixel works.
First one is an OC by the lovely and talented cosplayer and pixel artist KawaiiKimu. We did a little art trade! This was my part of the trade. Her part of the trade is used as my Twitch stream backgrounds. She's super talented. Give her a visit!
Second one is an OC by incredible pixel artist and dev, IllusionofMana. It was borne as an experiment to see if his effeminate male character could maintain that gentle look while having typical masculine features (such as a thicker neck, broad shoulders, etc). I dunno if I pulled it off. but I had fun!
And during this particular mixel, I experimented with using the vector layer. Not a bad way to pull off lines. Though, not my cup of tea as far as an approach to pixeling in ClipStudioPaint.
