"dullscythe" representa todo ese agobio, todo ese bloqueo y angustia que sufrió Porter al momento de crear nueva música, y que nada le convenciera, esos mil intentos fallidos de hacer algo bueno.
Todas estas emociones son representadas con un sonido inquietante y repetitivo, pero que a su vez intenta poco a poco lograr ser una melodía, casi a medias.
Todo este desorden, estos glitches, estos sentimientos de ansiedad y desesperación también son una semilla necesaria para aprender de todo ello y reconocer realmente lo que estamos haciendo mal, lo que nos hace sentir así... para que al final todo vuelva a florecer de nuevo.
