I Travelled 1000 Miles Across The UK With £0 (Here’s How I Did It)
Can you get across the UK without spending any money at all?
When my friend Jamie asked if I wanted to help him raise money for Raleigh International by trying to get from John O'Groats to Lands End without any money whatsoever, just relying on the kindness and generosity of the strangers we would meet along the way... I could not say no.
At the beginning of December Jamie and I flew to Inverness in Scotland, and prepared for what would be one of the most rewarding and unforgettable experiences of our lives so far.
This short film showcases how hitchhiking is still an incredibly exciting and memorable activity. We did not carry a single penny, dime, nickel or bank card in our pockets.
At first we had our doubts whether strangers would be willing to help us, but we were quickly proven wrong, and a valuable life lesson was learnt.
