Hello everyone! My first acquaintance with the author's work should have begun with the book "American Tragedy", but it was this first debut book of the writer that came to hand. What can I say, the style of the work is very simple and, thanks to it, the book is read in one breath! The life story of a provincial girl who made it in life. The book is quite complex from the standpoint of the life of each of these characters and even more difficult from a moral point of view.
