Proposal!
A little back story... Tom has never gotten me roses through our whole relationship. He would always say "someday" he would buy them for me. He gathered 30 morale captains and then close friends of ours to pass out roses to me as we walked from the IMU to the old capital building on campus. Each person handed me the flower and said happy red rose Friday or have a great day. As we got closer to the capital I began receiving roses from my close friends rather than strangers. When we reached the top of the steps Tom gave me a rose for the first time. He then gave me the book "The Wedding" that he wrote a message inside. When he first asked me out on a date 3 1/2 years ago he gave me a book where he wrote out his message in finger spelling since I was taking sign language at the time. After all of this he got down on one knee and pulled out a beautiful ring. I of course said YES! We are so lucky to have such wonderful friends and to have been part of the Dance Marathon family! You all mean so much to us. Thank you for everyones part in making this day so special.
