There were NO SOLAR FLARES during the total eclipse on April 8 2024
A mistake is being spread that there was a solar flare during the total eclipse also known as the Great North American Eclipse.
It was in fact not a solar flare but a solar prominence which is drastically different.
A solar flare can reach earth in 8 minutes and disrupt and destroy electronics.
A solar prominence is anchored to the sun and is harmless to the people on earth.
