Audi RS 3 Sportback (8Y) with an Akrapovič exhaust system
Meet the new range of Akrapovič Evolution Line (Titanium) exhaust system for the Audi RS 3 (8Y) Sportback and Sedan models - so lightweight that it's 44.1% % lighter than the standard setup!
A new design of handcrafted carbon-fibre tailpipes with a titanium inner sleeve – similar in design to those seen on the recent Akrapovič systems for the Audi RS 6 Avant and RS 7 Sportback – completes the whole ensemble, creating a collective look for all Akrapovič exhausts across the whole Audi RS family.
Special parts for the ECE type-approved system are cast in the Akrapovič in-house foundry. These include the housings for the two exhaust valves, one on each side of the muffler to tailor the sound, giving a distinctive and well-defined tone to the car’s five-cylinder engine.
Akrapovič engineers also developed a special control kit for a complete sound experience. Enjoy a relaxed and pleasing purr in comfort mode or a powerful and sporty tone while reaching for the limit, giving a powerful and sporty character to the engine tone.
To finish off the overall appearance of the exhaust system, a high-gloss rear carbon-fibre diffuser is available as an optional extra.
