For over 60 years, we’ve known that behind every great woman, there is another and another. Today as we begin the celebration of International Women’s Day, we honour the women who came before us and the women who stand beside us. Let's all take the precious opportunity to appreciate and honour the truly beautiful women in our lives as International Women’s Day brings to light the important contributions and innovations that women have achieved. Airtel Ghana believes that International Women’s Day should also be seen as an opportunity to appreciate the women that are close to us, for the nurturing, loving and supporting role they play in our lives at work. These women in our lives helped shape the people we are today. Their beauty, strength, love and encouragement are gifts that see us through thick and thin every single day of our working lives. They are truly a gift that keeps giving. With the assistance of some women and a man in Airtel Ghana we put together a special video dedicated to the women at Airtel Ghana, for we believe that women are a valuable gift, a never ending giver who never expects anything in return. As female employees, we believe it is time to take stock of these women and tell them how grateful we are to have them in our lives. #WomensDay
