We saw a lot of hostility this past week in pro-wrestling both as part of the show(s) and in real life.
Cody Rhodes took exception to some off-color comments by AEW Women's Champion Toni Storm (in character) that got much of the wrestling internet talking. Gabe Kidd is furious in his promos and in the latest press event for the upcoming Wrestling Dontaku show for New Japan, claiming that most of the IWGP Championships have been made a joke but he's going to take the NEVER Openweight Title and make it mean something again. And Kenny Omega is the latest victim of the New Elite as Omega made his return to AEW Dynamite this past Wednesday with disastrous results.
