⚡ High Tension (HT) transmission lines carry thousands of volts — one mistake can be fatal. Electricity is invisible and strikes instantly. Always treat every overhead or underground line as live. Safety first!

✅ Key Safety Tips:

Maintain safe clearance — Never bring equipment, ladders, cranes, or scaffolds too close.

Identify hazards — Survey the site for overhead and underground lines.

Use insulated tools & PPE designed for electrical work.

Barricade and mark danger zones to keep untrained personnel away.

Follow the “Look Up & Live” rule before moving equipment.

Obtain power shutdown or permit-to-work when working near HT lines.

Keep a trained spotter on-site when operating machinery near lines.

⚠️ Unsafe Acts / Conditions to Avoid:

Working without knowing HT line locations

Using metal ladders or scaffolding near live conductors

Ignoring safety distances with cranes or booms

Storing materials under HT lines

Unauthorized work near energized lines

👉 Remember: Electricity doesn’t give second chances. Stay alert, maintain distance, and always follow approved procedures near HT lines.
