Johnny and Sammy for the Last Time
Tonight marks the 31st anniversary of the last Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. In honor of the occasion this episode from June 1989 marks what no one knew this would be Sammy Davis's last appearance on Tonight.
This episode is so normal it's almost boring, but we didn't know we'd never see Sammy swing thru Lady is a Tramp or share a laugh with Johnny again. Within a year Sammy would be gone and Johnny would be signing his last contract. Tonight let's relive the memories.
