Modern Jazz Album - "Quintessence"
Since its creation and first performances, back in November 2016, has worked and shared many experiences until we get to where we are today, about to launch our first work. The musicians that form Tritono, Santi Bobet (guitar), Ruimán Martín (bass) and Akior García (drums), have already worked before in other musical formations. It was our passion for music and especially for jazz that made us meet and create a project together to satisfy our curiosity, play and create our own compositions.
Quintessence has been recorded live at Manzana Recording in January of this year. The album contains 8 songs, all original (seven are compositions by Santi Bobet and one by Ruimán Martín). For the recording of three of them we have had the collaboration and good work of Sergio García (saxophone). Sergio is a great musician born and trained in Cuba who lives in the Canary Islands, (clarinetist, saxophonist, composer, arranger) with a long career in the music scene.
Alberto Méndez "Naranja" be in charge of the mix, an exceptional technician and bassist well known to all the partners in the sector.
We have taken advantage of live recording to record some of the songs on the disc. The person in charge of this work is the videographer and friend Iván Pérez.

Desde su creación y primeras actuaciones, allá por noviembre 2016, Tritono ha trabajado y compartido muchas experiencias hasta llegar a donde estamos hoy, a punto de lanzar nuestro primer trabajo. Los músicos que formamos Tritono, Santi Bobet (guitarra), Ruimán Martín (bajo) y Akior García (batería), ya hemos trabajado antes en otras formaciones musicales. Fue nuestra pasión por la música y en especial por el jazz lo que hizo que nos reuniéramos y creásemos un proyecto juntos para satisfacer nuestra curiosidad, tocar y crear nuestras propias composiciones.
Quintessence ha sido grabado en directo en Manzana's Recording en enero de este año. El disco contiene 8 temas, todos originales (siete son composiciones de Santi Bobet y una de Ruimán Martín). Para la grabación de tres de ellas hemos contado con la colaboración y el buen hacer de Sergio García (saxo). Sergio es un gran músico nacido y formado en Cuba que reside en las Islas Canarias, (clarinetista, saxofonista, compositor, arreglista) con una larga trayectoria dentro del panorama musical.
De la mezcla se encargará Alberto Méndez "Naranja" excepcional técnico y bajista de sobra conocido por todos los compañeros del sector.
Hemos aprovechado la grabación en directo para grabar en vídeo algunos de los temas del disco, que iremos publicando a medida que estén terminados. El encargado de este trabajo es el videógrafo y amigo Iván Pérez.
