In this video, I'll answer the question, "How do I negotiate my compensation offer with Amazon, at the beginning of the interview process?".
Let me provide some context first. The Amazon interview process is going to take you through several stages. In the first stage, you're going to apply via your resume. If Amazon likes your resume, then stage two will ensue, where a recruiter is going to screen your application. He or she is going to have a video call or a phone call with you and ask you qualifying questions. Provided you clear the recruiting screen, you will be next screened by the Hiring Manager, or somebody on the team. That's stage 3 of the interview process. That screen will take place via most likely a video call. And lastly, provided you pass that screen (by the Hiring Manager), you will be interviewed by a loop of several interviewers, most likely via a succession of Chime video calls.
