Autodesk has released a new version of AutoCAD 2021 with better workflows and boosted productivity making some previously challenge tasks a lot easier to achieve.

New Features of AutoCAD 2021 include:
1. DWG History
See changes made to your drawing over time. The DRAWING HISTORY palette lists previous versions and when each is selected uses the DWG COMPARE utility to show the differences between that and the current drawing.
2. Xref Compare
Compare two versions of an external reference file (Xref) and implement changes without leaving your current drawing.
3. Cloud Storage Connectivity
Seamlessly access any DWG file from leading cloud storage providers like Microsoft OneDrive, Box, Dropbox and now Google Drive.
4. Quick Measure Improvements
The Quick option of the MEASUREGEOM command now shows the calculated values for areas and perimeters in a 2D drawing.
5. Blocks Palette Enhancements
Stay connected to your block content — anytime, anywhere. Insert blocks efficiently from the Libraries tab on desktop or in the AutoCAD web app.
6. Trim and Extend
The TRIM and EXTEND commands have been changed to make the workflow quicker — the default Quick mode now automatically selects all potential boundaries
7. Revcloud Enhancements
Revcloud now automatically set the arc length to a more appropriate size and enables changes to be made to the REVCLOUD quicker
8. Break Objects at a Single Point
BREAKATPOINT command has been revise and now enables a break to be made at a specific point along a Line, Arc or open Polyline
