I have been teaching working computer professionals, and university students, online for ten years. Even so the last eighteen months, with COVID-19, has not been easy. This the first of what I hope will be a series over the next few months, of some tips and ticks which helped me though the last eighteen months. The aim is to help academics get out of the mindset that online learning is a second best temporary measure.
