Connor Bedard has the entire hockey cards hobby turned on it's ear! Right now, 2023-24 O-Pee-Chee Hockey is selling for the outrageous price of $140!
This is supposed to be a value buy. OPC Paper is supposed to be enjoyed by families, and kids. It is supposed to stay below $90 per hobby box, and provide tons of hockey card pack opening excitement and joy.
But Connor Bedard has ruined O Pee Chee. And, he is in the process of ruining SP Authentic. SPA boxes are already preselling for $499 per box!
I refuse to play along. Paying those prices for products that haven't even dropped the checklist yet, is a recipe for financial ruin. So...we are value hunting on this channel. And, we will do so unapologetically.
This episode, I will open yet another hobby box of 2022-23 Upper Deck Skybox Metal Universe Hockey. I have smashed the odds with this product, and with prices below $70 at most retailers...I'm gonna push my luck even further!
