When remaking the past for keen-eyed photographers, no detail may be spared.
In 2023, after spending nearly 10 years establishing its presence in the photo charter market, Dynamo Productions hosted a day-long event with the @EastBroadTopRailroad, revered as a time capsule of the moment it ended freight service in 1956. This, coupled with the reintroduction of locomotive No. 16, made the railroad a holy ground for photo events — it hosted close to a dozen from various operators last year. How does the conversation between a railroad and an operator start? What variables and challenges are there? Where lies the balance between railroading and period props, automobiles and actors? And what sets Dynamo Productions apart from others?
