Tracktion Waveform Free
Can we produce Bad Guy (Billie Eilish) in Waveform Free? Finneas is a great music producer with a very distinctive sound. Let's see how close we can get in a free DAW!
Tracktion Waveform Free has some great synths, effects and plugins to help us produce some great music. Obviously Waveform Pro has better stuff offering more intuitive control over every parameter, but stripping our studio back to basics can be a great way to get creative. I'm really impressed with how easy it was to get the track sounding good with just the free DAW. I chose to use Dragonfly Reverb (which is also free) but Waveform Free's own reverb could be sculpted to sound very good when paired with an EQ.
Have a listen for yourself and tell me what you think. Better yet, go download Waveform Free for yourself and try producing music on it. It's definitely one of the best free DAWs available. I can't wait to see what comes in Waveform 12!
