Hurricane Milton | Living Through ONE of Orlando's MOST INTENSE Hurricanes
We are bringing you with us as we prepared for Hurricane Milton's arrival and how we rode out the storm in our home in Orlando, Florida. Strengthening to a Category 5 Hurricane with winds peaking at 180mph, Milton recently became the second most intense hurricane to form in the Gulf of Mexico on record, just behind Hurricane Rita in 2005, and the fifth-most intense Atlantic hurricane. Hurricane Milton made landfall in Siesta Key as a Category 3 and traveled northeast, just south of Orlando. This is our experience with the biggest hurricane we have dealt with since moving to Orlando in 2021.
