Backing up Oracle RAC Databases to OCI Object Storage Using RMAN and the OCI CLI Webinar Snippet
In this webinar we got you started with one of the first critical steps in moving your applications to the Oracle Cloud, transporting your data. We showed how to install and setup the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) backup tools on the database server and then followed up with two types of backups: RMAN using SBT and then showed using the OCI Command Line Interface (OCI CLI) to transport RMAN backups to the cloud. We provided a shell script to transport files to OCI Object Storage to all attendees.
