This tutorial is for beginner. I will upload tutorial for you from beginner to advance level gradually.
Excel follows some priority rules for its operations like below PEDMAS rules. Parentheses is the highest order, then Exponent....Division..............................finally Subtraction.
Today I am going to discuss with example Excel 2013 Tutorial- Order of Precedence/Evaluation as shown in the tutorial.
Excel calculates formulas based on the following order of operations:
*Operations enclosed in parentheses.
*Exponential calculations (5^2, for example)
*Multiplication and division, whichever comes first.
*Addition and subtraction, whichever comes first.
PEDMAS: Order of Evaluation/Precedence
P: Parentheses
E: Exponent
D: Division
M: Multiplication
A: Addition
S: Subtraction
