Black ops 3 split screen fix (Not showing up)

Yeah I don't get that "ACTIVATE SPLITSCREEN" button. It just says 'add controller for split screen' and cannot do anything with it. I can use the controller for single player...
EDIT:
Found the issue, Steam has made the support for xbox controllers... I went into Steam-Setting-Controller. Selected General Controller Settings. Then I unticked what ever I had there ticked and tested, turned on BO3. Ta Daa "ACTIVATE SPLITSCREEN" had poped up and all was working fine
