In this video I will go through all the guns on the buy menu and give you my opinion based on statistics on each weapon in this game. Pause now and comment on your prediction for the best and worst guns in Valorant. Let’s get into it.
Keep in mind this list is based on price to performance ratio and if it is good in certain situations in-game.
Number 1 best weapon
Phantom:
Not much to explain here, just simply the better gun over the Vandal, it has better spray control, more ammo in the mag, shoots slightly faster than the Vandal and overall just better.
Vandal:
Coming in at number 2 comes the Vandal, obviously the other AR is going to come in this spot. It’s got great 1 tap potential, but as I said the Phantom is just simply better, because of the bigger mags and spray control. Vandal is good if you’re going only for 1 taps and Vandal can get some nice clips for your extremely highly edited cringe Valorant montages, but that’s about it.
Operator:
The Operator comes in at number 3, because it’s just the ez gun. Hold an angle on defence and nobody can stop you. If you’ve got decent aim this gun is literally cracked. This gun isn’t as versatile as the Phantom and Vandal which is why it’s number 3 on this list but you would definitely want the Operator on your side.
Spectre:
Spectre comes in at number 4 because it literally is the best run-n-gun weapon. Literally the best half buy weapon for eco rounds. It’s got a big mag, shoots very fast and is pretty much a phantom with worse spray control and worse first shot accuracy. Spectre is definitely my weapon of choice if we’re not full buying and can be just as good as the phantom or Vandal when you are taking fights close or mid range.
Marshall:
Coming in at number 5, and last weapon in the top 5, Marshall. Marshall is literally an Operator with less damage, you can hold a super nice long angle and get some easy kills. If your aim is cracked, this gun is the one for you with the 1 tap headshot potential, and 100 damage to the body. Pro players like Tenz love this gun because it is cheap and very fun to use when you have god tier aim.
Now we move onto the bottom 5 guns, and I know all the Silvers watching this video are gonna disagree with me, but you guys are all trash and brain dead anyways so it’s all good.
Frenzy:
Coming in at Number 5 we have Frenzy, Frenzy is definitely the worst secondary weapon you can have because of the low damage. After it’s nerf it just got absolutely trash, it’s got good run and gun capabilities but Frenzy is debatably the worst secondary in this game.
Ares:
In Number 4 we are Ares. I actually hate when I see little kids using this gun, like dude wtf are you trying to achieve with that thing. It’s 1600 credits, and literally only good for wallbangs, maybe if you combined it with a sova dart it could be decent, but I would much rather use the Odin for that type of thing. The Spectre being the exact same cost literally doesn’t even compare to the Ares in how bad the Ares is. Use the Spectre otherwise you’re throwing.
Shorty:
Shorty, Shorty is an interesting one coming in at number 3 on this list. The shorty is mostly a cheese weapon and doesn’t provide a lot of value. It’s only 150 credits so we can’t give it too much shit, but definitely could be a bit better. I don’t really see any game situation where the shorty would be used instead of a different pistol or a judge if you really want a shotgun.
Stinger:
Stinger comes in at number 2 because once again, what fucking braindead out of their right mind child is gonna buy this hunk. Stinger has no long range, very poor medium range and decent close range. The Spectre, another SMG, for literally 600 credits more can absolutely crush at close range and be decent at medium range. Stinger is an absolute trash weapon and once again, anyone who uses this is maximum, Bronze.
Bucky:
Coming in at Number 1 is the Bucky, this weapon is absolute trash. It got a huge nerf a couple of months ago and it hasn’t been the same since. Bucky is only decent at close range and even then, it doesn’t do enough damage to 1 tap with full armour. The buckisito was one of our favourite guns but now it’s just simply not good enough.
