Hillbilly Coho: Chasing Stripes
A day on Spot X chasing Ozark spring run white, striped and hybrid bass with Ozark temperate bass guru Bill Butts and Dally's Ozark Fly Fisher guide Chas Johnson.
The spring runs, climbing over limestone shoals, resemble in look and quantity the Alaskan salmon runs, hence the title "Hillbilly Coho".
These species are a phenomenal fly rod target yet are largely untouched by the general fly fishing populace.
