Highlights increasing costs of building transit
The report from the Toronto Region Board of Trade shows that current transit projects in the GTA average about 700 million dollars per kilometer. That's markedly higher than what major European cities like Paris or Madrid build transit projects for, which come in at 100 to 300 million per kilometer.
