Wow. This was emotional. Thank you BIFA, Yann Demange and the U.K. film community for presenting me with the Richard Harris award for Outstanding Contribution by an Actor to British Film. So surreal. I’m grateful for the support so far and for what’s ahead. (I actually lost the award in a cab on way home, but I finally tracked it down). What made the night even better was Asim Chaudhry hosting, Adeel Akhtar winning best actor, and Aleem Khan sweeping the awards with 6wins. Proud to be part of this wave that is stretching culture. Proud to be part of this creative community. Thank you.
