Fast Kutz - Burnin'
Fast Kutz were a Heavy Metal band from Cleveland (Not Ohio, but England), that was formed by former Holland/Hammer guitarist Kenny Nicholson with vocals by one Marty Clerkin. Funnily, it was discovered midway through the recording process that Clerkin could not sing. Keith Davison was quickly hired to replace Clerkin, who put down his vocals in just two days. The band received generous acclaim from none other that Ozzy Osbourne, who was a guest on Tommy Vance's BBC Radio 1’s Friday Rock Show, which featured 4 of the the band's songs on the program. Ozzy stated they were “the most energetic band he’d heard in ages” – “it’s good music man” and “someone should sign these guys up man – tell them to give me a ring and I’ll see what I can do for them“. Unfortunately, Ozzy never answered their call.
