Chip Brownlee, a senior in political science and journalism (with a minor in German), is a prime example of a student who has utilized all of the resources Auburn has to offer. He started working at The Auburn Plainsman before he even decided he wanted to become a journalist.
Brownlee worked tirelessly at The Plainsman to make the award-winning student newspaper into a sought-after news source by everyone in the community. Having managed to excel in the classroom, at the paper, as a political reporter for the Alabama Political Reporter, and at his internships, which include “CBS This Morning” and NPR’s “All Things Considered.”
