How I Finally Killed Malenia - Elden Ring 2025 |
Well after nearly 150 soul-crushing attempts, I finally beat Malenia (again) — in Elden Ring 2025, patch v1.16.
I started with zero understanding of the fight while using the Serpent-Hunter — dying in every possible embarrassing way. But over time, I improved and slowly learned to:
→ Recognize her attack patterns
→ Discover punish windows
→ Survive Waterfowl Dance
→ Reach Phase 2 consistently
The whole experience felt like training in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber from Dragonball Z and walking out ready to face Cell... or in this case, Malenia.
Even after finally defeating her, I can confidently say: she remains one of the toughest bosses in any game, especially under these speedrun conditions.
